This Privacy Policy explains how iRecHub collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our resume-building and ATS-optimization platform.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account details — your name and email address.
  • CV data — the professional information you enter or upload, including work experience, education, skills, certifications, projects, and contact details.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the app, such as feature usage, device type, and browser information.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Build, store, and export your CV and cover letters.
  • Provide AI-powered content enhancement and writing suggestions.
  • Calculate ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility scores.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the service.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text, and all data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We apply access controls so only authorized systems and personnel can process your data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the Anthropic Claude API to power AI features such as content enhancement and ATS analysis. When you use these features, only the relevant CV text is sent to Anthropic to generate the requested output. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Your Rights

You are always in control of your data. You can:

  • Access and review your data at any time from your profile.
  • Export your CV as a PDF or DOCX file.
  • Correct or delete your CV data directly in the editor.
  • Request full account and data deletion by contacting us.

6. PDPL Compliance (Saudi Arabia)

We process personal data in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). We collect data only for specified, legitimate purposes, limit processing to what is necessary, and honor your rights as a data subject.

7. GDPR Compliance (EU Users)

If you are located in the European Union, we process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal bases include your consent and the performance of the service you request. You may exercise your rights to access, rectification, erasure, and data portability at any time.
